SITE FURNISHINGS
PART 1 - GENERAL
1.1 SECTION INCLUDES

1.3 REFERENCE STANDARDS
A. ASTM A36/A36M - Standard Specification for Carbon Structural Steel; 2008.
B. ASTM A53/A53M - Standard Specification for Pipe, Steel, Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc Coated, Welded and Seamless; 2007.
1.4 SUBMITTALS
A. Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:
1. Certificate of Material Origin. Products must be wholly manufactured in the United States of America, and contain a minimum of 99% recycled material
2. Preparation instructions and recommendations.
3. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.
4. Installation instructions.
B. Selection Samples: For each finish product specified, color chips representing manufacturer's sample of the specified color.
1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
A. Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.
B. Handle products with sufficient care to prevent scratches and other damage to the finish
1.6 SEQUENCING
A. Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.
1.7 WARRANTY
A. Manufacturer warrants products for one year from date of purchase by original user. Unit shall be used according to designed purpose and that failure is not caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or improper maintenance. Manufacturer will repair or replace on a prorated basis all parts which fail aforesaid. All freight and installation charges are to be paid by user.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.1 CHAIN GATE

B. Post and cap to be (powdercoated (select color), galvanized, or Stainless Steel).
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 EXAMINATION
A. Verify surfaces to receive site furnishings are acceptable prior to installation.
B. If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Owner's Representative of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.
C. Do not begin installation until unsatisfactory substrates have been properly repaired.
3.2 PREPARATION
A. Ensure surfaces to receive site furnishings are clean, flat, and level.
B. Review location of furnishings to be installed with Owner's Representative prior to installing. Contractor should mark or stake the proposed location for approval.
3.3 GENERAL INSTALLATION
A. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Install products as detailed and per manufacturer's recommendations. Set level, plumb, square, and correctly located as indicated on the drawings.
C. Secure as specified or as recommended by manufacturer. Obtain Owner's Representatives approval of method prior to installation.
3.5 BOLLARD INSTALLATION
A. Set bollards as shown on details. Ensure bollards are plumb.
B. Touch up paint on bollard as required to ensure seamless finish.
3.6 CLEANING
A. Clean installed work to like-new condition. Do not use cleaning materials or methods that could damage finish.
3.7 PROTECTION
A. Protect installed products until completion of project.
B. Touch-up, repair or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.
